Shawn, great job on these portraits. The one of "man and his dog" although the image in the fog was absolutely poetic, this one here is so strong and more intimate on a personal level- great character, expression, and composition in all your portraits...
I have seen many strengths in your photography... but I think that your greatest strength is your ability to capture a great environmental portrait and your use of available lighting.
I think many photographers lack this ability and rely on studio and controlled environments to somehow make up for that.
Abstract portraits are sometimes fun and can be very powerful, however, I think that street and environmental are among my favorite styles. Keep up the great work!
