Orcas Island
I went to Orcas Island in the San Juans off the coast of Washington state a few weeks ago to enjoy a weekend with some friends as they were married. Here are a few photos from that weekend.

Rise of Fall
As autumn begins, I have this longing to connect with the beautiful light that the season offers here in the Northwest. It'll be early mornings and the light of dusk that I hope to search out. Perhaps this is a good sign. I grabbed this shot last night out my passenger window while waiting at a red light on my way back to the newsroom from a swim meet.
