Today Is A Good Day

During the last couple of hours of work today, a gentleman came in and sold the store a Nikon S3 at an unbelievable price. I snagged it immediately! This is a beauty of a camera. I have always wanted a Nikon S series rangefinder. I'd give this one a rating of 8+. It is an early model with cloth shutters and it sounds wonderful. The shutters speeds are dead on to the ear. The 5cm f1.4 lens is also in excellent condition. Check out that serial number! The question is: Do I use it? Or do I trade it for another rangefinder?

Nice find Mr. Gust

Stop being a pansy ass and use it. If you've always wanted one, then keep it and have some fun with it. That's my 2¢.

Shawn, I'd have to whole heartedly agree with Romer here!...... I really enjoy his delicate nudge to use the camera..... ;)

Use it a few times then get what you really want/need.

Your style works so well with medium/large format. Think how cool a Mamiya 7 system would be! I still regret selling my Mamiya 7...
