Jim, Outage, and Elk

While driving one day I spotted Jim who was cleaning a fresh elk kill. I approached him and asked if he'd mind if I made a portrait of him. He agreed. After photographing him, his black lab Outage came over and began cleaning up what pieces lay on the ground from the elk hide. Jim is a lineman for a utility company in town and has been for many many years. It wasn't until then that I fully understood the lab's name. Clever.
